'Uber Lilith' has fallen: Diablo 4's toughest demon has finally been killed in Hardcore with a barbarian named Spinnywin

Spinnywinny may be the cheap d4 gold avatar of Ben, a streamer who reached the Hardcore 100 achievement earlier this week.

It brings me great pleasure to report that Uber-Lilith has fallen: The first recorded Hardcore mode kill from the Diablo 4 pinnacle boss, the sport's toughest single fight, continues to be accomplished by Ben, a Twitch streamer and self-described "gamer just attempting to game."

The end of the Diablo 4 campaign isn't the end of the game. Once Lilith continues to be properly handled, you can keep on the live-service grind to consider your character all the way to the utmost level of 100, if that is what you're into. But there's not only a three-digit character level waiting at the conclusion: There is also the Echo of Lilith.

Echo of Lilith—aka Uber-Lilith—is a really, extremely effective version of the base boss, made to give the sport's most accomplished and overpowered players something to bother with. To even meet Echo of Lilith, you must have defeated the campaign and reached World Tier 4, Diablo 4's highest difficulty level. In a pre-release interview with GamesRadar, associate game director Joe Piepiora said your dream is designed to be "extraordinarily, extraordinarily challenging."

"Players that reach level 100 will have an extremely hard time on this boss encounter," Piepiora said. "And the expectation is you take your class, you realize your build, you've maximized exactly what you possibly can about this, and also you really have learned encounters perfectly. And that's going to become the method in which you can maybe remove it."

Lest there be any doubt about Piepiora's seriousness, Uber-Lilith brought Wudijo's solo Hardcore 100 character to an end just yesterday.

But that isn't to say Uber-Lilith can't be beaten, and today, beaten she continues to be: By Ben, who brought the mighty demon low together with his vicious, powerful barbarian, Spinnywinny.

As you are able to see within the clip, Ben puts up staggering levels of damage in the attacks against Lilith, which Wowhead says he likely accomplished if you take advantage of an oddity within the barbarian's Whirlwind skill.

"Based on the weird mechanic which was repeatedly reported during Beta, Whirlwind apparently snapshots a damage-increasing buff from Wrath from the Berserker's second upgrade, Supreme Wrath from the Berserker," the website explained. "By endlessly channeling Whirlwind immediately after activating Wrath from the Berserker, the buff never appears to fall off and increases damage endlessly according to Fury spent instead."

Wowhead added it's possible that another thing could be happening to cause the harm boost, just like a different bug or exploit, "but that is what it sure appears like."

Whatever the reason, the task was done, and Ben apparently was built with a really good time doing the work. "The @diablo pinnacle boss is insanely fun," he tweeted. "So far the sport has exceeded my expectations, hopefully, the near future bosses they've created are similar. I feel like diablo 4 gold for sale actually has some big potential when they fix some things like DC rips/NM dungeon density + sculpt monster CC."

(For the record, that's deaths brought on by disconnections, the density of monsters in Nightmare Dungeons (generally, players want more), and reducing Crowd Control skills, which enable players to slow or halt enemy movement.)
